Ride-a-Wish, Incorporated is an equine therapeutic program which uses horses as tools to enhance the  overall well being of people with special needs. This program offers both a nurturing and rehabilitative environment for individuals with a variety of cognitive, emotional and/or physical needs.  This unique learning approach with horses can illicit positive personality attributes and improve physical activity.    It is exciting to observe the benefits of this program! 

Highly qualified instructors offer training, recreational riding and simple communication with horses.    

These  distinct activities depend upon a riders specific needs and aim to raise each individual’s capability.  The exceptional  therapy services are offered to individuals with:

· Acquired Brain Injury

· Autism

· ADD/ADHD

· Cerebral Palsy

· Down’s Syndrome

· Charge Syndrome

· Hearing Impairments

· Other specific needs

All individuals with disabilities have different strengths and weaknesses. These are improved to reach the ultimate goal of the highest quality of life. 

Certified dynamic instructors, extraordinary horses, and  dedicated volunteers encourage each participant to have the determination for the greatest improvement possible.
